Main Interests:
1). Study the molecular, cellular, and neural circuit bases of major neurological diseases including intellectual disability and autism in order to develop an intervention and/or a cure for the diseases, using Drosophila melanogaster and non-human primates as model organisms.
 
2). Taking an interdisciplinary approach including biochemical, molecular, and genetic methods to study synapse development, structure and function, using Drosophila as a model system.
