李家洋,男,博士,中国科学院院士,美国科学院外籍院士,研究员,博士生导师
1956年7月出生于安徽肥西,植物分子遗传学家。1982年初获安徽农业大学学士学位,1984年获中科院遗传研究所硕士学位,1991年获美国布兰代斯大学博士学位,并进入美国康乃尔大学汤普逊植物研究所从事博士后研究。1994年回国工作,历任中国科学院遗传研究所所长助理、所长,遗传与发育生物学研究所所长。2004年1月任中国科学院党组成员、副院长,2011年10月任农业部副部长、党组成员、中国农业科学院院长。
先后获“国家杰出青年基金”、中国科学院“百人计划”、国家自然科学委员会优秀团队研究基金。2004年获全球华人生物科学家大会生命科学成就奖和何梁何利生命科学奖,2005年获国家自然科学奖二等奖、发展中国家科学院讲演奖、长江学者成就二等奖,2011年获美国植物生物学家协会(American Society of Plant Biologists) 终身会员奖(Corresponding Membership Award)。2001年当选中国科学院院士,2004年当选发展中国家科学院院士,2011年当选美国科学院外籍院士。
研究方向为高等植物生长发育与代谢的分子遗传学,以粮食作物水稻和模式植物拟南芥为材料,研究植物激素(Auxin和Strigolactones)的合成途径与作用机理,着重于阐明高等植物株型形成的分子机理,并致力于水稻的分子品种设计,培育高产、优质、高抗、高效新品种。
