研究内容:
 
        1. 以开花植物拟南芥、水稻等为材料,研究植物生殖隔离的分子基础
       生殖隔离(reproductive isolation)使两个亲缘关系接近的物种或类群之间不能杂交产生可育后代,从而保证物种的分化和独立性,分为受精前生殖隔离和受精后生殖隔离。通过远缘杂交,打破生殖隔离,可以实现不同物种间的优良基因重组,创制新物种和新种质资源、改良旧物种、利用杂种优势,从而服务于农业生产。将通过多种手段,解析植物生殖隔离现象背后的分子遗传基础和演化机制,建立打破生殖隔离的多种手段。
 
        2. 植物种子发育的遗传调控与进化
        种子发育关乎植物的物种繁衍和人类的粮食保障,其受到复杂的分子机制的调控。将通过多种手段,解析种子发育的分子调控机理,服务于人们对于农业种子的多层次需要。
